Moment of Crisis
Police and emergency professionals retain their professional responsibilities. With consent, our hope is for a trained Justice Warriors point of contact to join the pathway at the appropriate stage.
A Christian, survivor-centred vision
Our heart is to build a calm, trauma-informed refuge for women, children and families following sexual violence — standing beside people through the golden hour so nobody feels alone, frightened or forgotten.
The heart behind the vision
Justice Warriors did not begin as a business idea. It was born from lived experience—from knowing what it feels like to carry pain nobody can see, to lose your voice, and to need somebody to believe you and stay beside you.
I know how frightening and lonely trauma can be. I know what it is like when you are already broken and then have to keep explaining yourself to different people. That is why my heart is for one calm, consistent person who does not disappear when the next part of the journey begins.
Justice Warriors is Christian at its foundation. We believe God meets people in broken places and that restoration is possible. Faith will never be forced on anybody. We will love without judgement, respect every survivor’s choices and quietly carry hope when they cannot yet carry it for themselves.
This is the support I wish had been there in my darkest hours. Now my heart is to build it safely, properly and prayerfully for somebody else.
— Anne-Marie Worsley-Bond, Founder & CVO
Our proposed crisis-to-safety pathway
From the moment of crisis, through to safety and beyond.
Justice Warriors is developing a proposed short-term, post-SARC crisis refuge pathway for women and their children following sexual violence. Our aim is to bring a calm, consistent, trauma-informed presence alongside the professionals already involved — helping the survivor move through each handover without feeling abandoned or having to begin again.
The proposed refuge would be a private, controlled and safeguarded crisis setting. It would not be a walk-in service and there would be no public self-referral. Our hope is to develop an agreed professional referral pathway with police, SARC and specialist services, with Justice Warriors involved only at the appropriate point and with the survivor’s consent.
Police and emergency professionals retain their professional responsibilities. With consent, our hope is for a trained Justice Warriors point of contact to join the pathway at the appropriate stage.
A reassuring, trauma-informed person alongside the survivor — helping reduce fear, explain the next manageable step and support small choices without pressure.
SARC, police, healthcare and specialist professionals continue their expert roles. Justice Warriors would work alongside them, never replace them.
After SARC, an eligible survivor could be professionally referred to our proposed small crisis refuge: up to two survivors at a time, normally for up to seven days, with appropriate provision for children.
Where possible and consented to, the same Justice Warriors point of contact would remain alongside the survivor so every handover does not feel like starting again.
Time to rest, ground, meet practical needs and connect with the right qualified services while asking: “What needs to be in place for you to feel safe moving forward?”
The journey would not simply end at departure. Our proposed model includes structured check-ins for up to 12 months, alongside appropriate longer-term specialist services.
Our vision is continuity, dignity and choice: a friendly, calm handover between professionals, a safe place to breathe after SARC, and thoughtful preparation for what comes next.
Standing in the gap
Maybe you have lived through something unthinkable yourself. Maybe somebody you love has, and seeing what it did to them touched your heart in a way you cannot forget.
Trauma can affect where somebody lives, who they trust, how they think and the choices they make while simply trying to survive. Without the right support, a person may become isolated, lose stable housing, return to an unsafe situation or fall through the gaps between services. Those outcomes are not inevitable.
Our future refuge would offer warmth, dignity, practical essentials and a little time to understand the next safe choice — without pressure and without judgement.
We would listen, help the survivor breathe, explain the next manageable step and keep asking, “What do you need, and who is the right person to help?” Every person and every case is different. Support must be person-centred, consent-led and safe.
Because we are Christians, we believe in the power of prayer. Prayer would always be offered, never imposed. Whatever a person believes, they would be welcomed without judgement and supported with dignity.

Support the vision
Justice Warriors is still in formation and we are putting the right foundations in place carefully and responsibly. There are several ways you can stand with the vision now — through your time, skills, professional connections, future financial support, prayer, partnership or practical help.
Our dedicated Justice Warriors organisational bank account is currently being set up, so we are not publishing bank details or taking payments through this website yet.
If you would like to give financially once the account and appropriate arrangements are ready, please get in touch and let us know. We can keep you updated as the next stage is put in place.
We are grateful that people want to donate clothing and practical items. At the moment, we are not accepting clothing donations because our proper storage arrangements are not yet in place.
If you would like to offer clothing, toiletries, furnishings, equipment or other practical support in the future, please email us now. We can start the conversation and contact you when we are ready to receive appropriate items safely.
Please note: Justice Warriors is in formation and is not yet operating survivor services. We will keep supporters updated as our banking, registration, governance and practical arrangements progress.
